Clinical observation of compound polymyxin B ointment in postoperative treatment of perianal abscess

Abstract: Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of Funuo (Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment)) after surgery for perianal abscess. Methods: 96 patients with perianal abscess after surgery were selected and randomly divided into 2 groups, 48 cases in each. The treatment group used Funuo ointment, and the control group used Vaseline for dressing change. The differences in wound pain, healing area changes, and healing time between the two groups were observed. Results: The wound pain score of the treatment group after postoperative medication was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant Significance (P<0.05), the postoperative wound healing rate and healing time of the treatment group were significantly lower than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05 ) . Conclusion Funuo has clear clinical efficacy in reducing wound pain and promoting wound healing after perianal abscess surgery, and is worthy of promotion.
