Abstract: Objective: To observe the efficacy of Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) combined with hydrocortisone butyrate ointment in the treatment of perianal eczema. Methods: One hundred patients with perianal eczema were randomly divided into two groups. The control group (n=50) was treated with hydrocortisone butyrate ointment alone; the experimental group (n=50) was treated with Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) combined with hydrocortisone butyrate ointment. The patients first applied Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment), and then applied hydrocortisone butyrate ointment 2 hours later, twice a day, for 7 days as a course of treatment. The efficacy was determined after the first and second courses of treatment. The patients were followed up after 8 weeks to observe the prognosis and recurrence. Results: The effective rate of the first course of treatment was 80% in the experimental group and 74% in the control group. There was no significant difference in the effective rate between the two groups. The effective rate of the second course of treatment was 96% in the experimental group and 72% in the control group. There was a significant difference between the two groups. After 8 weeks of follow-up, the effective rate of the test group was 82%, and that of the control group was 62%, with a statistically significant difference between the two groups. Conclusion: Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) combined with hydrocortisone butyrate ointment has a good effect in the treatment of perianal eczema and can reduce the recurrence of skin lesions.
