Abstract:Objective:To observe and analyze the effects of oral administration of Xianfang Lifelong Drink plus and minus, combined with traditional Chinese medicine and Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) on the healing of postoperative wounds in children with perianal abscess (PA). Methods:120 children with low PA who underwent surgical treatment were selected for observation, and were divided into 60 cases each in the Xianfang Longevity Drink group and the ointment dressing group by the randomized numerical table method. Both groups were routinely operated with incision and drainage, and the ointment dressing group was given homemade traditional Chinese medicine and Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) for external application, while the Xianfang Longevity Drink group was combined with the Xiantian Longevity Drink plus or minus oral administration on the basis of the ointment dressing group, and clinical symptoms scores, inflammation-related indexes and other indicators in the two groups were compared in the first 2 weeks after the operation. Symptom scores, inflammation-related indexes [interleukin-6 (IL-6), interleukin-10 (IL-10), tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-alpha), C-reactive protein (CRP)] levels, serum pain factors [norepinephrine (NE), 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT), substance P (SP)] levels, trauma healing, clinical efficacy, and postoperative follow-up. Recurrence. Results:Two weeks after the operation, traumatic pain, traumatic secretion, traumatic edema and granulation tissue scores of both groups were significantly reduced (P<0.05), and the symptom scores of the Xianfang Longevity Drink group were significantly lower than those of the ointment group (P<0.05); serum levels of IL-6, IL-10, TNF-α, and CRP of both groups were significantly reduced (P<0.05), and the levels of these indexes of the Xianfang Longevity Drink group were significantly lower than those of the ointment group (P<0.05), and the levels of these indexes of the Xianfang Longevity Drink group were significantly lower than those of the Xianfang Longevity Drink group (P<0.05). The levels of each index in the Xianfang Longevity Drink group were significantly lower than those in the ointment application group (P<0.05); 2 weeks after the operation, the levels of serum NE, 5-HT, and SP in both groups were significantly lower (P<0.05), and the levels of each factor in the Xianfang Longevity Drink group were significantly lower than those in the ointment application group (P<0.05); the time for the carrion to be detached, the time for the neo-epithelium to appear, and the time for the traumatic wound to be healed in the Xianfang Longevity Drink group were significantly shorter than those in the ointment application group (P<0.05). The total effective rate of the Xianfang Longevity Drink group was significantly higher than that of the ointment application group (P<0.05); 6 months after the operation, there was one case of recurrence in the Xianfang Longevity Drink group, with a recurrence rate of 2.44%, and there were three cases of recurrence in the ointment application group, with a recurrence rate of 9.38%, and the difference between the two groups was not statistically significant (P>0.05). Conclusion:The combination of oral administration of Xianfang Lifelong Drink with homemade traditional Chinese medicine and Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) can effectively reduce the clinical symptoms, inflammatory reaction and pain after PA in children, and promote the healing of wounds, with remarkable clinical efficacy.
