Abstract:Objective:To explore the effect of treating common acne with Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment). Methods:Ninety patients with acne vulgaris admitted to the Second People's Hospital of Baiyin City between August 2016 and August 2018 were divided into an observation group and a control group. The patients in the control group were treated with conventional treatment, and the patients in the observation group were treated with Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment). Then, the treatment effects and the results of lesion counts were compared between the two groups. Results: Compared with the patients in the control group, the patients in the observation group had a higher overall effective rate of treatment, and the counts of papules, pimples and pustules were lower after treatment (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) is effective in treating acne vulgaris and can reduce the symptoms of skin lesions.
