Abstract : Objective To observe the clinical effect of using Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) combined with nanosilver medical antibacterial dressing to treat large-area burn residual wounds. Methods 40 patients with large-area burns were studied. After treatment, each patient had 2 residual wounds, totaling 80 wounds. Randomly divided into observation group and control group, 20 cases in each group. A total of 40 wounds in the observation group were treated with compound polyvinyl B ointment combined with nanosilver medical antibacterial dressing; a total of 40 wounds in the control group were treated with 10% povidone-iodine ointment combined with sterile gauze dressing. Results After treatment, the treatment effectiveness rate of the patients in the observation group was 95.0% higher than that of the patients in the control group, 77.5%, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); in terms of wound healing time, the observation group was better, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05); the incidence of adverse reactions was also smaller, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); and the bacterial clearance rate was as high as 94.44%, which was higher than the control group's 47.06%, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) combined with nanosilver medical antibacterial dressing is effective in treating residual burn wounds. The operation method is simple and is worthy of promotion and application in primary hospitals.
