Abstract : To observe the clinical efficacy of Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) (Funuo) plus compound carraghenate suppository (Taining suppository) for dressing change after hemorrhoid surgery, 200 patients who underwent hemorrhoid surgery were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group, with 100 cases in each group. In the treatment group, after routine debridement and disinfection, Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) (Funuo) was applied to the wound surface and compound carraghenate suppository (Taining suppository) was inserted into the anus, and vaseline gauze was used for drainage. In the control group, routine debridement and disinfection were performed and vaseline gauze was used for drainage. The results showed that the pain and edema in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05), and the wound healing time in the treatment group (28.15±4.02) d was shorter than that in the control group (33.53±4.17) d), and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The results showed that applying Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) (Funo) on the wound and inserting compound carrageenate suppository (Taining suppository) into the anus for dressing change after hemorrhoid surgery had obvious clinical effect, which could reduce wound pain and edema and promote wound healing.
