Abstract :Objective To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of fluticasone propionate cream combined with Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) in the treatment of eczema. Methods A total of 120 patients with eczema were randomly divided into two groups. The treatment group (n=60) was treated with fluticasone propionate cream once a day and Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) twice a day on the rash. The control group (n=60) was treated with fluticasone propionate cream once a day for 14 days. Results The effective rates on the 7th and 14th days in the treatment group were 51.67% and 78.33%, respectively; those in the control group were 41.67% and 58.33%, respectively. The difference was statistically significant only on the 14th day of treatment (P<0.01). No serious adverse reactions occurred during the treatment. Conclusion Fluticasone propionate cream combined with Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) has a good effect on the treatment of eczema without obvious adverse reactions.
