Abstract :Objective To explore the efficacy of Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) combined with sesame oil (ointment) gauze in the treatment of postoperative wounds of perianal abscess. Methods A total of 80 patients who underwent one-time radical resection of perianal abscess in our hospital from May 2016 to May 2017 were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group with 40 cases in each group. The treatment group used Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) combined with sesame oil (ointment) gauze for wound dressing, and the control group used saline gauze for dressing. The differences in pain degree during dressing change, wound slough shedding time, dressing change number, and wound healing time on the 2nd, 3rd, and 7th days after surgery were observed in the observation group. The wounds in both groups were completely healed. The wound healing time, wound pain degree during dressing change, and dressing change number of the treatment group were lower than those in the control group, and the wound slough shedding time was shorter than that in the control group. Conclusion Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) combined with sesame oil gauze dressing after one-time radical resection of perianal abscess can keep the wound moist, relieve wound pain, promote wound healing, and shorten hospitalization time.
