Abstract :Objective: To explore the clinical efficacy of Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) assisted by 420 nm intense pulsed light in the treatment of moderate facial acne vulgaris. Methods: A total of 60 patients with moderate facial acne vulgaris who were treated in Songshan Lake Central Hospital of Dongguan from January 2019 to March 2021 were selected and divided into an observation group and a control group according to the random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with 420 nm intense pulsed light, and the observation group was treated with Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) after 420 nm intense pulsed light treatment. The clinical efficacy, changes in the number, color, type, pain score, and facial acne-specific quality of life (Qol–acne) score before and after treatment, and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results: The total effective rate of the observation group was 96.67%, which was higher than that of the control group ( 73.33%), and the difference was statistically significant (P 0.05). Conclusion: Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) assisted by 420 nm intense pulsed light therapy can improve the clinical efficacy of moderate facial acne vulgaris, promote the repair of damaged skin, and improve the quality of life of patients with good safety.
