Abstract:Objective To observe the clinical efficacy and safety      of light emitting diode (LED) red light combined with recombinant human      acidic fibroblast growth factor and Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B      Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) in the treatment of elderly patients      with refractory skin ulcers. Methods The clinical data of 58 cases of      elderly patients with refractory skin ulcers were retrospectively analyzed      from February 2018 to October 2020, and were divided into the experimental      group and the control group according to the different treatment methods,      with 29 patients in each group. The control group was given routine      surgical debridement and dressing change, after spraying topical      recombinant human acidic fibroblast epidermal growth factor topical      solution, topical Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple      Antibiotic Ointment), the frequency of dressing change in the early stage      was 2~3 times/d, after the wound was improved, the frequency of dressing      change was changed to 1 dressing change in an interval of 2~3 d. The      experimental group was united with LED irradiation on the basis of the      control group with a wavelength of (633±10) nm, a power density of 80~ 100      mW/cm~2, irradiation time 20 min, irradiation frequency and drug change      frequency synchronization, the early frequency of 2 ~ 3 times / d, after      the wound is improved, changed to the interval of 2 ~ 3 d irradiation      once, a total of 4 weeks for a course of treatment. One week after a      course of treatment, measure the size of the ulcer area of the two groups      of patients, and carry out quality of life scores to determine the      clinical efficacy. The incidence of adverse reactions was also recorded.      Results Comparison of the ulcer area and quality of life scores of the two      groups of patients before treatment showed no statistically significant      difference (P>0.05). One week after treatment, the ulcer area of      patients in the experimental group was significantly lower than that      before treatment (P<0.05), and the quality of life score was      significantly higher than that before treatment (P<0.05); although the      ulcer area and the quality of life score of patients in the control group      improved to different degrees after treatment compared with that before      treatment, the difference was not statistically significant compared with      that before treatment (P>0.05). The total effective rate of the test      group was significantly higher than that of the control group, and the      difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). No obvious adverse      reactions occurred in both groups. Conclusion LED red light combined with      recombinant human acidic fibroblast growth factor and Fonow ointment      (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) has precise      efficacy and good safety in treating elderly patients with refractory skin      ulcers.
